On January 16th 2011, Type 1 athletes, ambassadors and role models cycled in the lululemon storefront for 7 hours straight to raise awareness of Type 1 diabetes, educate people about the differences between Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, encourage people to live active healthy lives and connect with other Type 1’s in the Bow Valley.
