WHO: Adults (19+) with Type 1 diabetes, friends, and family (kids welcome too!)
Join the CIM community at our first 2017 Get Moving Series event! Our goal is to bring the T1 community together through a wide variety of affordable and accessible sport events across the country. The Get Moving Series events are 5.5er friendly – your family and friends are welcome to join us.
Meet at the Rideau entrance (at the Rideau Centre). Please wear clothing to keep warm and bring your completed waiver with you. This event is for beginners and advanced skaters alike! No skating instruction will be given, it’s a chance to skate with new and old friends under the sparkling lights.
Skates can be rented at the meeting location, please arrive early to purchase skate rentals ($18 for 2-hour rental).
