BIRTHDAY BASH POSTPONED due to G20

I am really sorry to have to inform everyone that this weekend’s Birthday Bash in High Park has been POSTPONED.
The impending challenges and disruptions to city-wide transportation and general goings on due to G8/20 this Thursday-Sunday seem to be growing exponentially each day leading up to the summit. After MUCH debate and deliberation, this has prompted us to postpone the event.

A birthday party just isn’t as fun with looming security fences, protesting mobs, snipers and 3-hour traffic delays. The weekend is simply too unpredictable.

We won’t let the G20 crash our party! But we will move the festivities to a different (quieter!) date in mid-September (TBA)
We had fantastic registration and were really looking forward to seeing everyone. I hope that everyone can make it out to celebrate with us this Fall.

Just think, you’ll have the whole summer to practice for the three-legged races! Same party – different date!
If you have any questions please feel free, as always, to get in touch.

Connected in Motion officially turns 1 YEAR OLD this summer!!

We became an official organization ONE YEAR AGO! Can you believe it? We can’t!
Time flies when you’re building a not-for-profit!

To celebrate, we’re hosting an old school Birthday Picnic Party in High Park, complete with BBQ, red-checkered table cloths, three-legged races, tug-o-war and more!

Join us for an afternoon of good food, great company and fun games, as we celebrate an incredible 1st year of connecting in motion.
