On January 16th 2011, Type 1 athletes, ambassadors and role models cycled in the lululemon storefront for 7 hours straight to raise awareness of Type 1 diabetes, educate people about the differences between Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, encourage people to live active healthy lives and connect with other Type 1′s in the Bow Valley.
This Sunday January 16th, Type 1 gals on bikes, will spin their hearts out to raise awareness for Type 1 diabetes in the Bow Valley and beyond.

Paris to Ancaster Bicycle Race

Join us for our first off-road cycling event!
Last Friday was a great day for a bike ride, complete with sunshine and crisp spring air.
Although it was a perfect day for an outdoor activity, CIM Youth headed inside the old London Gardens hockey arena to try something new: track cycling at the Forest City Velodrome.
Connected in Motion is accepting applications from youth aged 10-18 to join CIM leaders at the Velodrome to learn some new biking skills. Space is limited so apply now!
Iain is from Prince George, BC and a student at UNBC. He was a part of TEAM ONE, traveling with fellow diabetics to hike the Inca Trail in Peru in 2009. He competes in 5 pin bowling and enjoys cycling, tennis and hiking.
Carlo is an avid cyclist, living in Ingersol, Ontario. He is the father of two, a husband and a teacher.
