It was a hot and muggy day for this year’s Birdies for ‘Betes golf tournament: sitting at 33° C, but feeling more like 41° C with the humidity. Nevertheless, we had a great turn-out of volunteers and participants! A total of 15 teams hit the green at Highlands Golf Club for a sweltering round of afternoon golf, followed by dinner and raffle.
A tally of all the money generated from fees and raffle tickets we made a total of… drum roll please… $2235.33!
