Sunday April 18: Paris to Ancaster Bicycle Race

The Paris to Ancaster Bicycle Race
has taken place for the past sixteen years over the roughest farm lanes, trails and gravel roads we can find. Combined with unpredictable spring weather and the largest field of riders assembled in Canada, it has become a classic race experience for everyone from average riders to Canadian Olympians. This year, CIM will be participating!

This event will require some training. If can get outside even better! Its similar to planning for your 5, 10 and 15km runs. Start easy and build up to it.

Mountain bikes, hybrids and cyclocross bikes are recommended.

A BIKE TUNE UP IS RECOMMENDED PRIOR. Tune ups look at making sure the gears and breaks are working. cost about 25$

Bike Rentals – A security deposit is required, contact the shops for details. Here is a link that looked promising. Just click on the Ontario link and there are tons for Toronto and area.
