It’s Time! Slipstream in the City 2013 is here!

Join us for Slipstream in the City 2013 at Steam Whistle Brewery and help relieve the diabetes complications adults with Type 1 face – like waiting room fatigue and diabetes education pamphlet burnout.

Slipstream in the City 2013 is the annual fundraising event for Connected in Motion (CIM) – but it’s more than a fundraiser – it’s a party, a celebration, a chance to kick back.  It’s time to let loose and celebrate with friends, family, and support a kick-ass cause.

The event will be a night of celebration – a party for all with proceeds supporting CIM. The party is geared towards anyone 19+, not just the diabetes community, and will include an awesome silent auction, media presentations (CIM-style!), complimentary late night snacks (they’re sounding delicious!) and, hey, we may even throw in a drink or two. We like you THAT much!

Invite your friends and family members! It’ll be a party to remember.

Donation: $2500          Yellow Jersey/Maillot Jaune
Worn by the rider who is leading in the General classification in the Tour de France
Wear the Yellow Jersey. Be our Maillot Jaune. Take lead of the Slipstream and push CIM to the next level!

Donation: $1500          Tête de la Course
Literally “head of the race” – the leading cyclist or group of cyclists, when separated from (in front of) the peloton
Dreamed of being the leader of the pack? This is your chance. Take it.

Donation: $1000          Trail Angel
A generous individual or group of individuals that provide acts of kindness to participants of outdoor events, on hiking trails or various biking routes.
We know there are Trail Angel’s out there, perched on the edge of the trail, just waiting to lend a helping hand. We’re reaching out. The time is now!

Donation: $750          Domestique/Water Carrier
A rider whose job it is to support and work for other riders in their team.
The difference makers. Working hard for the benefit of the team. Help push us to victory.

Donation: $500          Soigneur
A non-riding member of a team whose role is to provide support for the riders, possibly including transportation and organization of supplies, preparation of the team’s food, post-ride massages and personal encouragement.
You’re out there—we know it! And we need you! An integral part of our team.

Donation: $250          Broom Wagon/SAG Wagon
A support vehicle following a group of cyclists in a race, tour or recreational ride that may carry equipment, food, rider luggage, or mechanics.
Lend us a hand. Or some food. Water? Heck, this is a versatile donation with uses beyond what you could even imagine. Go broom wagon, Go!
