Help us to continue to make life with Type 1 diabetes just a little bit easier. We can’t do it without you

Connected in Motion has been battling significant challenges in our post-pandemic world and, despite our best efforts, we have been left in a position of incredible financial stress and uncertainty. This year, we have navigated rapidly rising program costs, a shifting giving landscape in the diabetes corporate sector, and the most requests for program subsidies we have ever had in our 15-year history.

We need you. Help us raise $50,000 by December 31st. Our future hinges on your support.

Act now and make an impact.

Want to amplify your impact? Consider hosting your own fundraising campaign!

The power of personal campaigns reaches far beyond the funds raised; they connect a diverse community through shared narratives and experiences. By telling your diabetes story and sharing the profound impact the CIM community has had on your life, you do more than fundraise. You create understanding, build bridges, and celebrate significant moments—like diaversaries and birthdays—in a truly meaningful way.

No time to waste. Let’s get straight to the heart of the matter

When confronted with the unforeseen challenges brought about by the pandemic, Connected in Motion stood firm. Though traditional support from sponsorship and registration fees diminished, our determination remained unshaken. We quickly adapted, embracing virtual platforms to make sure no one in our community faced isolation by themselves.

Thanks to the crucial support we garnered during these challenging times, our community didn’t just persevere—it thrived. Your unwavering support allowed us to reach significant milestones such as:

Virtual Connections

We connected a staggering 2,914 individuals across Virtual Slipstream Canada, US, Global, HCP virtual slipstreams, and support crew virtual slipstreams. These platforms became sanctuaries of support and collaboration in isolation.

CIM Team Support

Despite economic uncertainty, we upheld our commitment to our staff. We ensured employment continuity and provided health benefits—crucial for those with type 1 diabetes, ensuring their well-being.

Reviving In-Person Interactions

In 2021, we cautiously reintroduced in-person programs through our mini-slipstream program and day-adventures. By 2022, with meticulous COVID protocols, we returned to our full spectrum of slipstreams and adventures, reigniting the palpable energy and dynamism of our community gatherings.

The ‘Save CIM Campaign’ is more than just year-end fundraising—it’s a call to unite, join together, and show our resilience as a community
