Meg is a diabetes advocate who has been involved in all things ‘diabetes’ over the past sixteen years. She enjoys cross fit, hot yoga and general fitness.
Jen is from Sunderland, Ontario but is currently living in St. Catherines completing her Masters of Education at Brock University.
Dessi is from Mississauga, Ontario and a student at Brock University. She competes in Tae Kwon-do and enjoys snowboarding and volleyball.
Andrew is from Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario and currently lives in Toronto, Ontario where he is finishing his Masters in Chemical Engineering. He is training to complete both the Ride to Conquer Cancer and the Cyclebetes Cross Canada Relay in 2010.
Kirsten is a graduate student at the University of Guelph and spends most of her free time in the outdoors! Above all else, she enjoys canoeing, but also jogs, swims, skis and curls.
Becky is from Toronto, Ontario and a RN in the NICU at Sick Kids Hospital. She enjoys walking, running, volleyball and swimming.
Steve lives in London, Ontario and has completed a degree in Criminology and a Post Grad in Advanced Police Studies. He enjoys fishing, snowboarding and drag racing.
Chantal is from Barrie, Ontario but is currently living in Bradford, Ontario. She enjoys running with her dog, ball hockey, dodgeball and skiing.
Iain is from Prince George, BC and a student at UNBC. He was a part of TEAM ONE, traveling with fellow diabetics to hike the Inca Trail in Peru in 2009. He competes in 5 pin bowling and enjoys cycling, tennis and hiking.
Mark is from Bracebridge, Ontario and works building challenge courses and training climbing facilitators. He enjoys climbing, skiing and snowshoeing!
