Words by Tina Sartori

Dexcom recently launched the Clarity app in Canada, which allows you to access many of the functions of the Clarity website, but in a much faster and easier way. When we heard that CIMer Tina Sartori had jumped right in to the app as soon as it launched, we asked her if she would share a bit about her experience. Here are the top 5 things she likes most about the Dexcom Clarity app.

#1. EASE OF ACCESS

You simply tap the app. You will have to login (this is a security feature as it is pulling data from the servers) and bam – you’re in!

#2. THE WEEKLY SUMMARY

You can choose whether or not you want to receive this email (and notification), but it is a great quick glance at how you are doing – especially if you are focusing on increasing time in range. It also highlights any patterns that may require you to take action.

#3. APP HOME SCREEN

If you choose not to get the weekly summary, as soon as you open the app you’re presented with a great summary of data. At the top you can quickly change the range of dates (this is showing 7 days, but you can choose 2, 7, 14, 30 or 90).

#4. REPORTS AVAILABLE & EASE OF CHOICE

You can easily pick your range of days to pull data from, and then choose which reports you want to view:

#5. BASIC TECH TOOL

You don’t have to be tech savvy to set it up or to navigate this app! It is totally beginner friendly.

"I love having another tool in my belt to assist in managing my T1D! If easy access to data is your jam, the app is definitely worth the add to your home screen."
