Extended Canoe Trip

Are you ready to push yourself, your diabetes, paddling, portaging and tripping skills to a new level? Then do we have the trip for you! This year, Connected in Motion’s Extended Canoe Trips will take us venturing into the backcountry of the Temagami region. Trip details including launch point, paddling route and return times will be posted in the weeks to come.
Are you over 18 and living with Type 1? Are you an experienced tripper ready to take on a challenging and rewarding summer adventure? JOIN US!
This year’s Extended Trip will be very limited in space. Please do not hesitate in registering to save your space!
What’s Included?
Camping Permits (Monday through Saturday evenings)
All meals and Snacks
Group Equipment (Tents, Cooking Equipment, Canoes, Paddles, PFDs, etc)
All Trip-Specific Programming
Certified Canoe Tripping Guides/First Responders
Logistics and Route Management
What is NOT included?
Personal gear (sleeping bags, sleeping pads… your own clothing)
Transportation to and from Temagami (Although we will help coordinate and strongly encourage carpooling!)
Diabetes Supplies
Parking permits
