Ontario Hiking Weekend 2023
August 11, 2023 @ 6:00 pm - August 13, 2023 @ 6:00 pm EDT
Join us for a weekend of day-hikes and camping in beautiful Bon Echo Provincial Park, in Cloyne Ontario! We will base-camp at the Mazinaw Lake Campground and take day-trips out to explore the many amazing trails in the area. There will also be the opportunity to check out the iconic Mazinaw Rock (via canoe/kayak), and its Indigenous pictographs, which are only accessible by water! Routes will be determined based on interest and skill level but expect to be outside and moving from breakfast to late afternoon.
What Is A CIM Adventure?
CIM Adventures help to connect people with Type 1 diabetes in the backcountry. The trips give you the chance to get away from the everyday hustle and bustle of your every day life; learn skills for taking diabetes into the wild; and step outside of your comfort zone into the place where magic happens. These programs are for veterans and new adventurers alike.
